Water Quality Issues And Water Temperature Control For Washing Equipment

Firstly, regarding water quality, the water used for washing equipment can be divided into two categories: hard water and soft water. Hard water refers to untreated groundwater with high mineral content, while soft water refers to water with low mineral content after treatment. We recommend using soft water here mainly because it not only reduces the problem of yellowing and hardening of the linen, but also reduces the problem of blockage in the inlet and outlet pipes due to high impurities.

Secondly, regarding water pressure, the high or low water pressure determines the speed of water inflow into the washing equipment. If the water pressure is too low, not only will the water inflow speed be slower, but sometimes the water valve cannot be opened, resulting in the problem of unable to inflow. If the water pressure is too high, although the inflow speed is guaranteed, it can easily cause water hammer and noise problems. So we must ensure the load capacity of the connected water pressure and ensure that the entire pressure is controlled between 2-7 bar. When the water pressure is too low, we can add a water pressure pump to increase the pressure. When the water pressure is too high, we can install a rupture balance valve to reduce pressure.

Furthermore, regarding the filter, in order to ensure that the water does not flow into the washing equipment, we also need to install corresponding filters when receiving water. At the same time, to prevent the vibration generated by the washing equipment production from transmitting noise and leakage to the pipeline, we should also install a durable high-pressure hose with a union nut between the water supply pipe and the washing equipment.

Finally, for some users with hot water sources, when connecting the washing equipment to water, we should separately connect the cold and hot water and ensure that there are separate manual valves for control. When there is no independent hot water supply, the cold and hot water at the inlet end can be connected in parallel for water supply.

When users use washing equipment to wash high dirt or thick linen, they often use hot water washing to ensure the washing effect. Through experiments, we also found that hot water washing not only effectively enhances the chemical reaction between detergent, washing water, and linen, thereby improving the washing effect, but also enhances the softness and fluffiness of linen. However, if not properly controlled, it can also lead to some adverse problems.
The most common problem among them is that the water temperature is controlled too high, resulting in the fabric being washed out or deformed and stretched due to high water temperature, as well as shrinkage and strong odor. So, how should we control the hot water washing temperature of this washing equipment? More often than not, we should make appropriate and reasonable settings based on the actual heating conditions of the washed linen.
